EMOTIONAL DETOX

SOWA RIGPA

Sowa Rigpa is an ancient holistic medicine and it has been successfully practised for over 2,500 years in Tibet, Mongolia, Buddhist regions of Russia and Central Asia, and the Himalayan kingdoms of Nepal, Sikkim, Bhutan, Ladakh and Northern India.

It treats the patient as a whole, bringing all systems back into balance using herbs and minerals in pill or powder form.

It's based on the premise that if our bodies go out of balance it causes disease and uses various techniques, including special massage and herbs to coax them back to balance.

What to expect in a session

The diagnosis is based on looking at your tongue, observing your pulses (in Tibetan medicine your 12 organs all have a pulse) and taking a medical history.

You will also need to bring a urine sample with you from your first morning urination.

Based on the results of the above, powders, pills or creams will be prescribed. And possibly a recommendation for a special massage.

Cost

The diagnosis will not be charged for, but there will be a fee of £10 to cover cost of room hire and to go towards Isaac's travel expenses. The medicines are £20 each for a month's supply and there may be up to three prescribed at a time.
