Learn why you must develop a solid practice of spiritual hygiene at whatever level you are, alongside developing rituals to clear your energies and preparation practices to set your healing space and your own energy.
The Masterclass is led by Emma Edgington, founder of Knowing Healing Hub and Shamanic Healer and Teacher.
Allison Nunes, Integrative Counsellor, Art Therapist and Trainee Shamanic Healer and Teacher at Knowing Healing Hub, and
Sonya Raymond, Anxiety & Mood Shifting Therapist, Scenar Pain Management Therapist and Instrumentalist.
We will be discussing and learning about lived experiences of working or being present around teachings in an unprotected way. What we should be aware of when considering taking up a course or learning a healing modality (discernment), how to prepare yourself and your healing space or workspace before accepting clients ( energetic protection), understanding how your communication skills and body language can raise your level of boundary protection. Tools and tips on how to be aware of when you need to build your levels of protection to higher degree as well as general day to day maintenance.
You will receive a STARTER KIT during the Masterclass so that you can begin to put into practice some of the things that you’ll learn about.

This evening we are welcoming two incredible ladies, Angela and Talin of Roots Herbal! They are passionate, educated and highly informed about how cannabinoids can be very helpful and effective with supporting our health.
They will be talking to us about their wonderful products as well as a bit about the history of the human relationship with the plant that can be traced back more than 5000 years. It followed the early nomads around as a “camp flower” for centuries while unfolding its potential to supply both fibre, food and medical relief. In China, hemp was used for pottery, robes, shoes and the early paper versions. Once in Africa, different names for cannabis started to show up regionally. One such name that is still used today is “hashish.” This word came into use in Egypt by 1200 and colloquially translated to “the herb.” The Asian civilisations discovered the psychoactive properties of the plant and used it for religious rites and ceremonies which then spread to the middle eastern and old European cultures.
The list of historical appliances is long. Among the usages listed are epilepsy, grief, neuralgia (pain due to damage or disease of nerves), anxiety, earaches, chronic pain, surgical anaesthesia, tumours, migraine, as a muscle relaxant, headaches, rheumatic joint pain, morphine withdrawal, convulsion, plaque, bipolar disease, and the list continues!
So join us for an informative evening immersed in the healing properties of cannabinoids. There will be some products available to sample and purchase on the evening.

The Wisdom of Mental Illness
UK author and shaman Jez Hughes is joining us on this evening to talk to us about his newly released book ‘The Wisdom of Mental Illness - Shamanism, Mental Health and the Renewal of the World’. It includes a comprehensive study of the traditional concept of the shamanic sickness and how it might relate to modern day symptoms of what we call mental illness.
Phil Borges who directed the excellent CRAZYWISE has called it ‘brilliant and comprehensive’ and Prof. David Luke of Greenwich University writes in the foreword ‘My praise goes out to Jez Hughes for this book exploring shamanism as a useful and required tool in the modern world, and for openly sharing his wisdom and experience and that of so many others.’

A history of mental illness and it’s treatment in the West, including the controversies around the biochemical model and how it came into being.
Personal stories of people’s experiences living with symptoms, diagnosis and treatments.
Latest neurological evidence that suggests unusual mental states that we associate with illness have actually helped us evolve as a species and how these correspond with shamanic states of consciousness.
The latest research and clinical trials showing the promise of psychedelic medicines in treating some forms of mental illness. And also what we can learn from indigenous cultures that have used these medicines for thousands of years and what might be lost in translation if we only approach them from a modern perspective.
The link between mental health and the ecological crisis we’re facing and how shamanic ceremony can help us to get back into balance with nature and improve our mental well being at the same time.
And the need to de-stigmatise unusual mental states and how they can be approached as gifts rather than burdens, through the the lens of shamanism and the disciplined training it entails.

An empowerment ritual connects you with a new and vibrant, possibly life changing energy. The energy comes to you in the form of an animal energy. This animal energy not only brings forth its power to you but also the gift of its medicine for you to work with moving forward. An empowerment is recommended to anyone who is open to connecting with their spiritual path on a deeper level as well as to anyone who feels that they’re lacking in life force energy.
This full day workshop provides time and space to fully immerse yourself in the welcoming of this new energy, and to gain a deeper connection to the medicine and the power that this incredible energy brings. This is a beautifully connective group setting where together we'll create sacred space, learn about opening the gateways and connecting with the elements, and why ceremony and ritual is an important part to our ongoing practice.

This workshop aims to bring us back to that place in ourselves. Providing time and space to call ourselves back into balance, connect with our inner child, connect with Mother Earth, connect with our spirits and have fun with expressing and grounding the energy into our reality through euphoric movement! Connecting with our authentic energetic selves to trigger positive transformation within and without.
